Gemma is a BBC Expert Woman and has contributed to a number of radio and television programmes, both behind the scenes and on air. These include BBC R4’s Woman’s Hour, BBC2’s A Very British Renaissance, and the major new BBC2 series exploring our creative history, Art That Made Us. Gemma has made a film about 17th century witchcraft (below) with BBC Ideas, in collaboration with The Open University. She has also written and presented many films and audios for The Open University, as well as producing her own podcast series, Tudor Women: In Their Own Words.
